  • Establish a regular touchpoint with your legal and compliance teams to stay current on regulatory developments that affect your AI portfolio.
  • Prioritise remediation of the most significant compliance gaps on your most high-risk systems first, rather than trying to fix everything simultaneously.

2. Scaling and Maturing

  • Build compliance checklists into CI/CD pipelines and deployment approval processes so that compliance status is verified automatically at each release.
  • Develop a compliance calendar that schedules periodic reviews of all AI systems, timed to align with regulatory reporting cycles and material system changes.
